2010...at last?

Hey everyone! Happy New Year. Welcome to 2010 finally! Been waiting to be over with 2009, it was a really tough year. But then what I realized was that instead of waiting for 2009 to be over so my problems would be past, I could have just gotten off my arse and gotten past my issues without waiting for 2010 to come. After all, it's not like when the new year started, there was a magical light above my head and all my drama from the past year was magically erased. Oh well, more on that later.

This year is my last full year in college and I am trying to decide whether I shall be nice or naughty this year ;) I have a lotta stuff I need to accomplish this year, things I need to stop doing, people I need to stop talking to, people I need to get back in my life...it could make a sane person's head spin, all the stuff I need to do.

Well I am ready for the ride. It's gonna be an amazing one I hope. Anyways all I really wanted to say is this;
If you have been waiting for a new year to do something, STOP! Just start doing. It would suck to end the year saying, "2011, I'll do it".

Have a lovely year! X

Tara and Bella :)

This blog is for the HATERS!!! Yeah! Congratulations! Finally decided to pay you guys some attention.

It's so funny how I am all way in school, minding my business, doing my music and tryna get through the semester yet some people choose to use their time talking about me!

If I gave them something to talk about, then it would be understandable. But I guess I shouldn't be dissing them. God put everyone on earth for a purpose, and if some have their purpose as being "my papparazi" then I should accept them :)

So keep talking. I should actually be thanking ya'll. You are only helping me get ready for what's to come in a few years- when I am an actual CELEBRITY!

Watch out for Tara & Bella!!!

Single and loving it?

This post is for LADIES. Guys, feel free to read though.

So when you first get out of a relationship, there are many phases. Some have got theirs really twisted in order but for me, it goes like this.

First week or so, I am devastated, cry a lot, whether at the thought of the ex or when I see the ex. After that stage, comes the part where I am kinda numb, can't cry anymore cause I have literally exhausted all my tears. But I are still just as miserable as always. Only now its harder to express the emotion. Then a few months after, comes the part where I and the ex try to "be friends" but I realize I'm still in love and go back to being miserable and all.

Now if you are REALLY unlucky, the next stage is going to be your ex having a new girlfriend. Well during that stage, the tears you thought had disappeared, totally come back! You may cry a river the first time you see them together, another river when you hear how cute they are, and you will cry the Atlantic ocean out of your eyes when you see they are on "I love you" terms.

Well this is all the beginning. Depending on the person in question, the healing process starts to come. For me, that came at month 5. You stop crying, you stop seeing the ex as "the only one", you accept the new girlfriend, you even start a lil romance of your own but at that point, this time in your life is for YOU. It's all about YOU once again.

You do things for you, answer to no one, flirt with who you wanna flirt with, that healing period is blissful really. That's the part where we all say, "I'm single and loving it!".

Sadly, that part starts to fade. You start to feel lonely, you get tired of the random guys around you, you long for the steady relationship again. You long for the BOYFRIEND. Single and definitely not loving it.

Make the best of the "Single and loving it!" phase. The next phase is just as depressing as the initial breaking up.

I have been ridiculously happy of late. And apart from the fact that I am of course a fabulous celebrity, the things that make me happy are the little things in life. Music, good friends, etc. So i thought I'd share my secrets. Some of the things on my "happy list" are specifically for girls but it's still a good list if ur looking for stuff to make u happy.

So here goes!

The Happy List

2. Sexy phone (could be any of your choice but I use the G1 and its amazing!)
3. Lipgloss (lol. told u some were girly)
4. Good friends
5. Good loving! ;)
6. A weekend filled with booze :D

Happy...ummm...Happiness everyone!

Happy Independence Day NIgeria!!! (Yeah right)

Yay! It's Independence Day and the only reason I care is cause there are no classes today and also cause the cafeteria is gonna serve nice food.

Just cause we gained political independence doesn't mean we are independent. As a matter of fact, we are a very dependent country. Even the one thing we own (big ups to OIL!), we still found a way to make sure we depend on other countries for it at the end of the day. Really. Really.

Anyways, I would like to congratulate the country on 49 years of interrupted power supply, lack of jobs and corruption. Nnamdi Azikiwe and all the other Independence pioneers (I don't do History) will be soooo proud!

Anyways I am not dissing. I actually love this day. I mean, NO CLASSES!!! :D
